time
| ( imagine a bank, which gives you 86.400$ every morning and takes the money you didn't use back in the evening. What would you do with the money? Spend it all, of course! Actually, we all have such a bank. It's called time. Every morning you get 86.400 seconds, which you can use as you want. But there is no possibility to get a loan or to save time for the future.. ) ( pink floyd - time ) |

façades
( "a façade is generally one side of the exterior of a building, especially the front, but also sometimes the sides and rear. the word comes from the french language, literally meaning "frontage" or "face". in architecture, the façade of a building is often the most important from a design standpoint, as it sets the tone for the rest of the building. many façades are historic, and local zoning regulations or other laws greatly restrict or even forbid their alteration." )

billie holiday - strange fruit
- southern trees bear a strange fruit,
- blood on the leaves and blood at the root,
- black body swinging in the southern breeze,
- strange fruit hanging from the poplar trees.
- pastoral scene of the gallant south,
- the bulging eyes and the twisted mouth,
- scent of magnolia sweet and fresh,
- and the sudden smell of burning flesh.
- here is a fruit for the crows to pluck,
- for the rain to gather, for the wind to suck,
- for the sun to rot, for a tree to drop,
- here is a strange and bitter crop.
- ( poem written by abel meeropol )
